At The Root Cafe, we source absolutely as much as we can from small farms and producers here in Arkansas. This includes 100% of the meat, eggs, and bread we serve, as well as the majority of our vegetables, fruits, nuts, and cheeses.  Meet our Arkansas farmer and producer partners!

We get all of our salad greens from Arkansas Natural Produce.  From them, we also get our jalapenos, bell peppers, cucumbers, and many, many other yummy fresh veggies!

Falling Sky Farm raises pasture-raised poultry, woodland-raised pork, and 100% grass-fed beef.  At The Root, we source most of our meats from Falling Sky Farm, including ham, breakfast sausage, bacon, and whole chickens . We don't only use the chicken for our chicken salad--we use it to make stock for our soups, too!
